Overview
Tendons connect muscle to bone; ligaments connect bone to bone. Tears in either — from an ACL rupture to an Achilles or biceps tendon tear — can cause pain, weakness, and instability that don't resolve on their own.
Dr. Tyorkin evaluates the severity of the tear and your activity goals to recommend the right path: many partial tears heal with structured rehabilitation, while complete tears often benefit from minimally invasive surgical repair.
